Thomas "Tommy" Jackson Mcguire, Jr.

Thomas (Tommy) Jackson McGuire, Jr. passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024.  An Alamance County native, Tommy owned and operated McGuire Air Compressors in Graham for 43 years and was a Certified Master Mechanic.  He was the son of Thomas J. McGuire, Sr. and Eva Mae Ingle McGuire. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of almost 44 years, Mary Isley McGuire; his brother, Gary Wayne (Corky) McGuire and wife Debra; his nephew Jordan McGuire, wife Sabrina and great nephew Ronan; and his “just like a daughter”- Virgina Chandler and husband, Jeff. Other than his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by his two sons, Robbie and Chad McGuire. Tommy was a member and a deacon at The Lamb’s Chapel in Burlington. He was a strong supporter and board member of Living Free Ministries. He also enjoyed racing, investing, and advising people with his sound financial wisdom. A celebration of Tommy’s Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at The Lamb’s Chapel, Burlington.  The family will receive friends after the service in the main entrance.
