Thomas "Alton" Manning

Thomas Alton Manning, 90, of McLeansville passed away Monday, Feb. 10, 2020 at Ashton Health and Rehab. In McLeansville. Thomas was born in Copper Hill, Va. To Everette Eugene and Lillian May Wilson Manning both deceased. He was married to Olivia Ann Hill Manning also deceased.

He is survived by his children; Barbara Mills (Mark) of Snow Camp and Mark Manning (Bonnie) of Mebane. Step children; Judy Pierce of Hillsborough, Lester “Peanut” Marlow (Kim) of Hillsborough, Jimmy Marlow of Burlington. Ten Grandchildren and many loving great grandchildren. Sister; Gladys Moore of Burlington.

In addition to his parents and wife Thomas is also preceded in death by brothers; Everette E. Manning, Jr., Glen J. Manning, Wilbert I. Manning. Sisters; Virginia M. Poff and Edith Sykes.

A graveside service will be held Friday, February 14, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Mebane Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Rev. Sammy Ballard.

McClure Funeral Service in Graham is serving the Manning family.
