Thomas "Tom" Robert Elkins Jr.

Mr. Thomas Robert “Tom” Elkins Jr. 73 of Graham, NC passed away August 5, 2021 at his residence. A native of Alamance Co, NC he was the son of the late Thomas Robert Elkins Sr. and Louise Isley Arenas. Tom was a lifelong welder having worked with Piedmont Metals, P&S Machines, Miller Brewing in Florida, and Triangle Welding in Burlington. Tom had a love for classic cars and tinkering around with whatever he could get his hands on. Tom was a proud veteran of the US Air Force. Surviving is his wife, Judith Hensberry Elkins; his daughters, Larissa Riggleman and husband Danny and Kimberly Davis; his son, Thomas Robert Elkins III and wife Molly; grandchildren, Andrew and Justin Ferreri, Alexander and Cassandra Elkins, and Logan and Tyler Carden; his sister, CeCe Arenas and significant other, Doug Wenger; his special family members, Dana, Rani, and Raji Dadlani, Durand Haney, Suzie Webster and many other loving family members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving daughter, Tara Lane Elkins. A graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday August 7, 2021 at Alamance Memorial Park in Burlington with his buddy Mr. Garry L. Gilley officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until service time at the cemetery on Saturday, and other times at the residence of the family. Tom will be open to the public from 2 until 5 PM on Friday and from 9  until 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home. McClure Funeral Service in Graham is assisting the family.
