Timothy Lee Dodson

Timothy (Timmy) Lee Dodson passed away at his home in Mebane, North Carolina on Friday, October 21, at the age of 58. Timmy is predeceased by his parents, Bobby and Billie Faye Dodson. Timmy is survived by his wife Donna of 35 years; sons Dustin (Jessica) and Dean (Trisha); granddaughters Makinlee and Allison; 6 brothers : Ricky (Jan), Ronnie (Evelyn), Pat (Bonnie), Bobby (Amy), Glenn (Kathy), Philip (Leigh) and sister Pam (Danny); nieces, nephews and other relatives. Timmy was a native of Mebane, NC. He graduated from Eastern Alamance High School in 1976 and went on to join the Navy in July 1977. He served 27 years and was honorably discharged as a Chief Warrant Officer Four (CWO4). After retiring from the Navy, he went on to open and operate Dodson’s Service Center in Mebane. Visitation hours from 1:00 – 3:00 immediately followed by the funeral service at Mebane United Methodist Church, 200 South Fourth Street, Mebane, NC on Wednesday, October 26. The family has requested in lieu of flowers a donation be made to the Eastern Alamance Field House, Inc., 4040 Mebane Rodgers Rd, Mebane, NC 27302 in memory of Timothy Dodson or the Aviation Boatswain’s Mates Association (ABMA) Scholarship Fund c/o Mr. Terry L.
