Timothy Floyd Coble, passed away on December 12, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on March 4, 1952, Timmy's life was a testament to the strength and resilience instilled in him by his late parents, Floyd and Eunice Coble.
Timmy's early years were shaped by his commitment to service, as he proudly served in the United States Marines from 1971 to 1973. His dedication to his country was a defining aspect of his character, one that he carried with him long after his military service ended. Upon returning to civilian life, Timmy embarked on a career with Northern Tools, where he worked diligently until his retirement. His colleagues remember him as a reliable and hardworking individual who brought both dedication and a sense of humor to the workplace. He is survived by his sisters, Deanna Stewart of Graham and Billie Rich of Snow Camp. His legacy continues through his nephew, Dino Stewart of Snow Camp, and his nieces, Kim Gaither of Graham and Robin Murray of Snow Camp.
An avid outdoorsman, Timmy found peace and joy in the beauty of nature. He was happiest when he was hunting, fishing, or playing a round of golf. His passion for these pursuits was not just about the sport itself, but about the camaraderie and friendships he built along the way. Among these friends was J.R. Simpson, with whom he shared many adventures and laughter. Timmy's hunting buddies, a close-knit group who were like family to him, will deeply miss his presence and the spirit he brought to every outing.
His absence will be felt by the host of nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends who were blessed to know him. Yet, they take comfort in knowing that his warmth, generosity, and the stories of his adventures will continue to inspire and bring smiles to those who remember him.
A graveside service will be held at 11am on Saturday December 20, 2025 at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family would like to send special thanks to the nurses at Carolina Rehab of Cumberland, especially his speech therapist, Kirsten. Memorials may be made to Mt. Hermon UMC or the Memorial Association.
