Tommy Lee Rice

Tommy Lee Rice, 59, of Mebane passed away Friday, February 13, 2015. Tommy was born in Alamance County. He was owner of Rice’s Jewelry Store in Mebane. He attended Carolina Christian Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and enjoyed helping others. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Vicks Rice of the home. Daughter, Kristie Rice Perrin and husband Roy of Jacksonville, NC. Son, Kevin Todd Rice and wife Evelyn of Mebane. Grandchildren, Jazmine, Krystian and Sapphyre Perrin and Bradlee Rice. Brother, Jerry Rice and wife Carolyn of Gibsonville. He was preceded in death by his parents, James McClendon Rice and Thelma Mae Barber Rice. A funeral service will be held Monday, February 16, 2015 at 1 PM in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane. Officiating will be Rev. Mark Mitchell and Rev. Walter Jones. Burial will follow in Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane from 4PM until 6 PM Sunday evening. Other times they will be at the residence. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Carolina Christian Church, 2030 Carolina Rd., Burlington, NC 27217.
