Tracy Michelle Johnson-Bedwell of Perry, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, February 7th in Temple Terrace, Florida. She was surrounded by loving family members as she passed away at the tender age of 46. Tracy always loved helping others. She devoted her time and energy working at the Hospice Home and the Second Harvest Food Bank in Youngstown, Ohio. While living in Sumter, South Carolina Tracy also continued to serve the community working at Tuomey Medical Center as an administrative assistant. She is survived by her loving husband Michael Bedwell of Perry, Georgia. Other survivors include her father Dwight Johnson and wife Shirley of Mebane, North Carolina; her mother June Vinyard and husband David of Lutz, Florida; her two loving brothers, David Johnson and wife Karen of Tampa, Florida, and Tucker Harrison and wife Stephanie of Mebane, North Carolina. She is also survived by her maternal grandmother Linda Isley of Mebane, NC. Tracy also loved her two furry companions, Savannah and Sydney, who will miss her greatly. Although Tracy lived in six different states throughout her life, she always called Mebane, NC her home. Her favorite vacation spots were the Outer Banks and the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. She always enjoyed the beauty and natural landscape that only God can provide. Our family would like to invite all of Tracy’s friends to join us in remembering her and the bright sunshine she brought to all she met. A celebration of her life will start with a visitation at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane from 6 – 8 pm on Saturday, Feb. 11th. The funeral service will be held at Mebane Presbyterian Church on Sunday afternoon at 2 pm, with interment following in Oakwood Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in Tracy’s name at the Humane Society of Alamance County. Donations may also be made to either Mebane Presbyterian Church, or to Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. Online condolences may be left at mcclurefuneralservice.com, select “Obituaries”.
