Vernon "Dale" Myers

Mr. Vernon “Dale” Myers, 55, of Mebane, NC passed away on July 1, 2020 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. A native of Johnston Co. NC, he is the son of the late Carl W. Sr. and Lola Marlatt Myers. Dale enjoyed the outdoors whether he was swimming, fishing, or just being around the water. He had worked with Rifenburg Construction for numerous years. He was known to many as a man who could fix anything, always helping his family and friends. Survivors include his brothers, Steven Leistritz, Brian (Bonnie) Myers, and William (Patricia) Myers; a sister, Jackie Woods and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Carl W. Myers Jr. and Kenneth Myers. A private family service will be held at a later date at Lighthouse Baptist Church Cemetery.
