Victoria "Vickie" Kelley Hedin

Mrs. Victoria Kelley “Vickie” Hedin, 65, of Huffman Mill Rd. Burlington, NC, passed away on Friday December 19, 2014 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Victor A. and Eula Ferrell Kelley. A native of Durham County, NC and she was known for her caring and generous ways, always making sure others never went without. During the Vietnam War she lived in Heidelberg, Germany on a US military base with her family and returned home to be a full time mother. She loved the band The Eagles, beach music, and shagging in Myrtle Beach. Surviving is her daughter, Angela Hedin, of Wilson, NC; sons, Robert Hedin and wife Renatta, of Sugar Land, TX, Christopher Hedin, of Asheboro, NC; cousins, Cindy Fuqua and husband Chris, of Mebane, Jean Harp, of Burlington and many other loving family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Brenda Kelley. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday December 23, 2014 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. Burial will follow in Providence Memorial Cemetery.
