BURLINGTON - Virginia Dare Durham, 80, of Burlington passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Virginia was born in Orange County, NC. She retired from Carolina Hosiery. She is survived by a brother, Frankie Durham of Efland; great-nieces and –nephews, Tonya Craven, Jamie Hoggard, Kelly Hoggard, Danielle Bowden and Ashley Daniel.She was preceded in death by; Parents, Luther Alando Durham and Annie Penngrass Durham. Sisters, Ruth Holmes, Gladys Rook, and Frances Sharpe. Brothers, Bobby Durham, Joseph Durham, and Curtis Durham.A funeral service will be held Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane. Officiating will be Pastor Bobby Tate. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
