MEBANE, N.C. - Wade Vernon Bradshaw, 88, of 6915 Bradshaw Quarry Road, died Jan. 22, 2015, at his residence.A native of Orange County, N.C., he served in the U.S. Army 175th Military Police Battalion, Company A, from 1950 to 1952. He retired from the North Carolina Department of Transportation, Orange County Maintenance Department after more than 60 years of service.Survivors include children, Sheree Bradshaw Raschid and husband Heidar of White Hall, Md., Michael Bradshaw and wife Wendy of Oak Ridge, N.C. and Laurie Bradshaw LoCicero and husband Michael of Hickory, N.C.; grandchildren, Erich Raschid, Alia Raschid, Bethany Bradshaw, Devin Bradshaw and Joseph LoCicero; sister-in-law, Frances Bradshaw; and niece, Joan Bradshaw Berry and husband Ronnie.He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Vance Bradshaw and Effie Walker Bradshaw; wife, Joanna McKinney Bradshaw; sister, Ruth Bradshaw Byrd; and brother, Edward Paul Bradshaw. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015.The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 26, 2015, at Bethlehem Presbyterian Church in Mebane, N.C. with Pastor Dale Matthews and Pastor David Crow officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Freedom Fellowship Church, 522 Trollinger Street, Burlington, NC 27215, Alzheimer's Association , 225 N.
