Walter Luther Broadwell Jr.

Mr. Walter Broadwell passed away on Friday January, 15 2016 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. He was retired from the US Army and IBM. He was an active member of Snow Camp Baptist Church where he also taught Sunday School. Survivors include his wife, Rose Hunter Broadwell, son; David Broadwell (Linda) of Pa., daughters; Mona Baker (Tommy) of Rougemont and Becky Broadwell Guin of Erwin, grandchildren; David Broadwell II, Colin Broadwell, Laurens Holt and Alex Holt, a great grandson Connor Holt and a brother Phillip Broadwell. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Ruth Wilson Broadwell and a sister Shirley Copley. The family will receive friends from 4-6pm on Sunday January 17, 2016 at McCure Funeral and Cremation Service in Graham. The funeral service will be held on Monday January 18, 2016 at 11:00am in the McClure Funeral Chapel in Graham. The burial will take place at Gray Rock United Methodist Church 4173 Gray Rock Rd. Kittrell, NC 27544 with Full Military Honors at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America at www.pva.org
