Weldon Brown Burnette

BURLINGTON - Weldon Brown Burnette, 91, of 2575 Willie Pace Road, Burlington NC 27217 passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Thursday June 12, 2014 at 4:28 PM. Weldon the son of the late Nick Burnette & Late Fannie Whitmore. Burnette was a loving Father, Husband, Grandfather, and great grandfather. Weldon accepted Jesus Christ as his savior and is survived by his wife of 67 years Luella Watkins Burnette of the home, Daughters: Linda Mitchell (Robert) of Hope Mills NC, Patty Lea (Anthony) of Greensboro, Grandchildren: Anthony Lea Jr. (Dulce) of Cary, Ashley Lea of Greensboro, Great Grandchildren: Elijah Lea and Evan Lea both of Cary, Sister: Nola Jeffries of Cedar Grove, a Host of Sisters-In-Law and Brothers-In-Law, and a Host of Nieces and Nephews. Other than his parents Weldon is preceded in death by a sister: Irene Jones. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday June 16, 2014 at McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham NC with the Rev. Robert Gerald Officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service time at McClure Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
