Wilbert Blair Harris

Wilbert Blair Harris, 95, of Mebane passed away on Monday November 27, 2023 at his home.  He was the son of the late Ralph and Jennie Harris.  He was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War. Wilbert was employed with GKN in Mebane during his working years.  He is survived by his wife, Mamie King Harris; sisters, Josephine Minor, Pauline Champion and Marie Dickerson; brothers, Bobby Jackson Harris and Truman Harris; grandchildren, Meredith Giannotti (Jim) and Marshall Stokes; great grandchildren, Carson Giannotti, Abigail Giannotti and William Stokes; son in-law, Timothy Brannock.  Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Brannock; sisters, Sarah Evans, Christine Evans; brothers, Ralph Harris, Jasper Harris and Samuel Harris. A funeral service will be held on Saturday December 2, 2023 at 12pm at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Mebane.  The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior from 11am-12pm.  Interment will take place in Oakwood Cemetery in Mebane.
