Willetta D. Hardy

Willetta Durham Hardy, 96, died Sunday April 14, 2019 at her home in Durham. She was a native of High Point and was employed in  food service having worked for Mayberry and Apple House Cafeteria in Burlington. She was married to James A. Hardy on November 27, 1948 and he passed away March 20, 1961. Her parents were John Franklin Durham who passed away on April 4, 1943 and Rosa B. Durham who passed away on October 7, 1937. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Lottie Durham, Lee Durham, Vestal Durham and Rosa Irene Durham.

She is survived by her sons, Jerry E. Hardy of Fairview, Daniel E. Hardy and wife Janice of Reidsville; daughter, Barbara H. Milton of Durham; grandchildren, C. Scott Shaw of Asheville, Brooke Tuck and husband Buster of Durham, Clell Biggs of Fairview; great grandchildren, Allison, Savannah and Jackson Tuck of Durham.

A service to celebrate her life will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham.  Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
