Dr. William "Bill" Andrew Inge Jr.

Dr. William Andrew “Bill” Inge Jr., 69, of Rogers Road, Graham, NC, passed away on Friday May 15, 2015 at the Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance/Caswell. He was the son of the late William Andrew Sr. and Violet Manson Inge. Bill was a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as well as a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. He served at a reservist in the United States Coast Guard and received his Captains License while in the Coast Guard and was a founding member of the Burlington Shag Club. Bill was a longtime member of the Graham Rotary club having perfect attendance for over 40 years. He was also a Paul Harris Fellow awarded by Rotary International and was a major donor of the Rotary Foundation. Surviving Bill are his wife, Gail Ingram Inge, of the home; step son, William Brian Hinkle, of Greensboro; step sister, Bobbie Bradshaw, of TX; step brothers, Denny Manson, of Burlington and Samuel Manson, of FL. A Cryptside Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 on Wednesday May 20, 2015 at the Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alamance County meals on Wheels at 411 West Fifth Street, Suite A, Burlington, North Carolina 27215 or to the Allied Churches of Alamance County at 206 N.
