William "Bill" Disorbo, 69, of Burlington, NC, a cherished husband, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, at Moses Cone Hospital. Born on February 23, 1956, in Olean, NY, Bill's life was a testament to his unwavering spirit and dedication to his loved ones and country. Bill proudly served his nation as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. His military journey began at Camp Lejeune and later took him to San Diego. He served on the USS Debaque and the USS Tarawa, demonstrating his commitment and bravery. After his honorable service, Bill continued to support his fellow veterans, always seeking ways to assist those in need. Following his military career, Bill found joy in the simple pleasures of life as a truck driver. His work allowed him to traverse the vast countryside of the United States, an experience he often shared with his beloved wife, Kimberly Moser Disorbo. Together, they celebrated the beauty of the nation he once defended. Bill's Christian faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding him in his daily actions and relationships. He was a man of integrity and kindness, whose generosity knew no bounds. His love for his family was immeasurable, and he found great joy in the company of his dogs, who were his constant companions. An avid outdoorsman, Bill took pleasure in yard work and woodworking. He had a talent for creating and fixing, always eager to tackle a new project. His hands were rarely still, as he believed in the value of hard work and the sense of accomplishment it brought. He leaves behind a legacy of love and honor, survived by his devoted wife, Kimberly; his brother, Ronald Disorbo; his nephew, Jeff Disorbo, along with Jeff's wife, Peggy, and their children. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Irma Martel Disorbo; his sister, Sandra and her husband Charles Vancheri; and his brothers, Bob and his wife Anna Disorbo, and Butch and his wife Nelda Disorbo. Bill's life was a journey of courage, service, and unwavering love for his family. His memory will be held in the hearts of those who knew him, a beacon of the values he lived by. As we bid farewell to William "Bill" Disorbo, we celebrate the indelible mark he left on this world and the lives he touched. His spirit will continue to inspire us, and his memory will forever be a source of comfort and strength.

A burial will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
