William Doby

William Paul Doby, 82, of Mebane passed away Saturday, March 10,2018 at his residence. William was born in Pittsylvania Co., VA. He was retired from Royal Home Fashion in Mebane. He is survived by two sons, David Doby of the home and John Doby (Jami) of Graham. Grandchildren, Jason (Deana), Stephanie, Anna, Caleb, Sarah. Sister, Lexi Jacobs. Brothers, Everett and Gurney Doby. He was preceded in death by, wife, Shirley Johnson Doby. Parents, William Pinkney Doby and Neelie Stanley Doby. Three brothers and one sister. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane. There will be a private burial at a later date.
