William Edward "Eddie" Rudder

William Edward Rudder, known as Eddie to his friends and family, passed away on May 2, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on March 28, 1954, Eddie's life was characterized by his unwavering dedication to his loved ones, his passion for his work, and his love for the simple pleasures in life.

Eddie is survived by his significant other of 35 years, Sharon Womack; sons, Blaine Rudder (Danielle) and Josh Rudder (Nicole), who will carry forward the values and lessons their father instilled in them. Eddie also leaves behind his brothers, Michael Rudder (Jaimie) and Bobby Rudder, as well as his sister, Karen Rudder Way.

Eddie's legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren, Savannah Rudder, Sadie Rudder, Scarlett Rudder, Hailey Stone, and Adalyn Rudder, who brought immense joy and pride to his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo Rudder and Mearlene Tuck.

Professionally, Eddie was the proud owner of Rudder HVAC, where he poured his heart into his work, ensuring comfort and warmth to countless homes. His clients respected him for his integrity, work ethic, and the genuine care he showed to everyone he did business with.

Beyond his professional achievements, Eddie was an avid golfer who relished every moment on the green. His laughter and camaraderie were fixtures at the golf course, where he enjoyed being with his friends. Those who knew Eddie will remember him as a man who lived life to the fullest, loved deeply, and laughed often. A Celebration of Eddie’s Life will be held at 2pm on Friday May 9, 2025 in the McClure Funeral Chapel in Graham.  The family will receive friends following the service.
