William McCabe

William Edward McCabe, 58, of Mebane, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026. Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, William was the beloved son of the late Edward and Shirley McCabe. He spent many years working as a plumber, a profession he took pride in. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Laura McCabe.

William is survived by his son, Thomas McCabe (Samantha); his brother, Eddie McCabe; and his sister, Sandra McCabe.

A service will be held to honor his life on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, beginning at 3:00pm at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service beginning at 2:00pm at the funeral home.
