William Parrish

William "Bush" Parrish, 83, of Burlington, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. William was born in Orange County and was retired from the North Carolina DOT. He is survived by his sons, Tommy Parrish (Yvonne), Rocky Top, TN, Billy Parrish (Teresa), Burlington and Brian Parrish (Rebecca) , Graham. Brothers, Terry Parrish and Jerry Parrish both of Burlington, six Grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by, wife, Gloria Ann Cates Parrish, parents, Hubert Yancey Parrish and Bessie Irene Clayton Parrish. Sister, Betty Jean Parrish Blackstock. Brothers, James Hubert Parrish and Harold Marshall Parrish. A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 2 p.m. in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. Officiating will be Rev. Mark Aheron. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. prior to the service.
