William "Dale" Self

Mr. William Dale Self, 61, of Graham passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Dale was born in Alamance County to William Edward Self and Margaret Marie Holt Self. Dale enjoyed many things in life such as guns, boating, fishing, hiking through the woods, being at the beach, working on projects, and had a tender heart for children.  He can be remembered as a kind and gentle man with an immense amount of care in his heart and always paying attention to detail in whatever he did.

Mr. Self was preceded in death by his father, William Edward Self, and his sister, Kat Boling.

Mr. Self is survived by his mother, Margaret Marie Holt Self, his sisters, Ellen Marie Farrar (Bryan), and Margaret Ann Self, his brothers, Michael Edward Self (Ricketta), and David Thomas Self, his nieces, Kaela Self, Ashley Paul, Jessica Samsky, and Rikki Ramsey, his nephews, Justin Donley, Jamie Terry, Josh Farrar, and Will Terry and many great nieces and nephews.

A private graveside funeral service for family and close friends will be held Sunday, February 27th, 2022, at The Mt. Hermon UMC Cemetery beginning at 2:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital
