MEBANE - William Dallas Thompson, 61, of 119 Forestwood Ct., Mebane passed away January 15, 2015 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. He was born in Alamance County. He was retired from Walter-Kidde. William loved the Lord and his church. He was a very active member of Eastside Baptist Church.Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife, Pearl Louise Thompson of the home. Daughter, Nancy Elizabeth Thompson of Vancleava, Mississippi. His son, William Dallas Thompson, Jr. of Mebane. Grandchildren, Brandon Forrest Keener and Logan Elizabeth Keener. And a sister, Susie Parker of Mebane.He was preceded in death by his parents, William Miles Thompson and Minnie Belle Parker Thompson. A sister, Lucille Workman. And brothers in law, Robert Workman and Wilbur Parker.A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane. Officiating will be Pastor Chuck Perkins. Burial will follow in Mebane Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane from 6 until 8 Monday evening.
