William Lynn Weeks

William Lynn Weeks, 27, of Liberty died Saturday, November 4, 2017 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. William was born in Orange County on March 20, 1990, the son of Weldon Reid Weeks, Sr and Angela Sue Hilliard Weeks. William had faced and overcome various health issues since birth. He was a kind and loving husband, son, brother and friend. William enjoyed playing golf as much as possible. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Melissa Dixon Weeks; his sister, Jessica Weeks; his brothers, Josh Weeks (Rachel) and Reid Weeks (Brooke), all of Snow Camp; grandparents, Vernon Hilliard of Liberty and Barbara Weeks of Elon; great-grandmother, "Grandma" Elizabeth Hilliard of Burlington; niece, Charlie Avery; as well as numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. The Weeks family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday evening at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 3572 W Greensboro-Chapel Hill Rd., Liberty. The service to celebrate the life of William Lynn Weeks will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, with Pastor Andy Clapp presiding. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
