Willie Vernon Mcpherson

Mr. Willie Vernon McPherson, 92, of Graham, NC passed away December 28, 2022. Mr. McPherson was born June 24, 1930, in Orange County, North Carolina to the late Calhoun Samuel McPherson and Nancy Durham McPherson. Mr. McPherson found any way he could to stay involved in his community, actively serving others, being a member of Salem United Methodist Church, and sitting as a charter member of the Meadow Creek Ruritan Club were just a few ways he stayed engaged with those around him. In his spare time he was an active farmer and hunter. Mr. McPherson was also a veteran of the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, Willie was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Allene Johnson McPherson, his sisters, Doreen McPherson Weston, Vivian McPherson Bodenheimer, and Evelyn McPherson Teer, and his brother, James R. McPherson.

Willie is survived by his daughter, Jackie Holt (Bobby), his son, Sam McPherson (Lesa), his grandchildren, Ashley Ramey, Janna Holt, and Jeremy McPherson, his great-grandchildren, Evan, Taj, Ty, Lily, Austin, Bentley, Charlotte, and Brayden, and his sister Jane McPherson Terrell

A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 02, 2023, at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery beginning at 11:00 AM.
