Winfield Robinson

Winfield Robinson, 73, passed away on September 11, 2021 at the VA Hospital in Asheville, NC.  He was the son of the late Winfield and Myrtle Robinson.  He served in the USMC from 1966-1968 and was a member of True Holiness Church of Faith.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Dolores Robinson; children, Michelle Scism (Tim), Gerald Robinson III and Brian Robinson; a sister in law, Pat Coolbaugh; brothers in law, Richard, Harold, Scott and Donald Bellgraph; grandchildren, Montgomery and Delaney Scism and Shelby Luther, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Robinson, sister Judy Rinebold and a niece Kathryn Robinson.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm on September 17, 2021 at McClure Funeral Service in Mebane.  The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project at https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org
