Our precious, Mrs. Agie Jones Mills, 84, of Graham, NC entered Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on June 13, 2020. “Ms. Agie” was also welcomed into Heaven by her son Ron Mills, mother and father, Lonnie and Earline Brown Jones. 4 sisters Ora Lee “Jack” (John), Lois, Jessie Mae (Jessie), Janice (Tom), 5 brothers Aubrey, Verdell, Durwood, John, Malcolm “Mike” (Louise), brother-in law Thomas, and father and mother in-law Walter and Ida Williams Mills.
Remaining to carry on her legacy, loving husband of 66 years, Felton Mills, daughter Gwen Burch (Rodney), son Rick Mills, grandson Jason Mills, 2 granddaughters, Nikki Burch, Heather McIver (Jamie), 2 great granddaughters, Taylor Cash (Michael), Jordyn McCrae, and great-great granddaughter, Aubrey McCrae, sister Doreen, Brothers and Sisters In-law, Elton (Billie), Shirley (Tony) and Ralph (Gayle).
“Ms. Agie” loves the Lord, her family and friends and never met a stranger. She especially loved cooking the yummiest meals and deserts and getting people together. She has been a caretaker and a friend to all who needed her. She loved children (she was considered the “baby whisperer” and held Good News Clubs to teach children about Jesus). She also loved singing in the church choir, shopping for anything and everything, sewing, embroidery, decorating, ceramics and making china dolls. She was a member of Kimesville Road Baptist Church
Visitation, Service, and Interment will be held on June 19, 2020 at Kimesville Road Baptist Church, 4565 Kimesville Road, Burlington, NC 27215 by the Rev. Bo Taylor (336-226-1299).
Mask Will Be Required To Attend
The family will receive friends starting at 1:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
The family would like to thank White Oak Manor of Burlington where Ms. Agie has lived for the past 2 years, ARMC of Burlington, NC and Green Valley Hospital of Greensboro, NC, for their loving and dedicated care. Our unending gratitude to the Kimesville Road Baptist Church family and McClure Funeral Home for caring for the Mills family in laying our precious loved one to rest.
