Amber Michelle Shambley

Amber Michelle Shambley was born on May 2, 1991, and left this earth on July 7, 2021. She was born in Chapel Hill, NC, and grew up in Mebane, NC. Upon graduating from high school, she went on to complete a certificate in Dental Assisting. She was never one to stay in one place for long, she loved traveling and lived in New York and South Carolina. She loved her family and friends, she enjoyed spending time and making memories with them. Above all she loved her son, Ezra. She loved singing, dancing and spinning Ezra around while singing “You Are My ‘Son'shine” until they were both dizzy and laughing uncontrollably on the floor. Amber was the most beautiful soul with a contagious laughter that would leave you in tears. She never met a stranger and instantly became friends with everyone. She had a magnetic personality, you wanted Amber to be a part of your life. When she loved someone, she loved with all of her heart. She was very adventurous and loved roller coasters. She had a passion for music, art and photography.  

Amber leaves behind her son Ezra; her parents, Shelia and Jason Bright, David and Cheryl Shambley; her sisters and brothers, Christian Fahnrich (Peter), Briana Compton (Jordan), Erica Bowden (Seth) and Matt Shambley; her grandparents, Alice Allen, Ronda and Joe Bright; her nephews, Lucas Fahnrich, Cayson and Lincoln Bowden; her aunts and uncles, Becky Allen, Jamie Bright, Terry Shambley (Vivian), Larry Shambley (Donna), Tommy Shambley, Doug Shambley (Melody); her cousins, Ashleigh Dragnev (Milen), Brandon, Chelsea and Brayden Shambley, Samantha Bright, Jordan Williams and Destiny Williams.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Gordon and Marie Shambley and James Allen and uncles; Ricky Shambley and Michael Bright.

A celebration of life for Amber Michelle Shambley will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at The People’s Church, 303 W. Crawford St Mebane, NC 27302. Pastor James Christopher will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:45-2:45pm prior to the service at the Church. Burial will follow in Mebane Memorial Gardens. Family will visit for a light reception after the graveside service at
