Anna Lynn Walker left this earth at the young age of 29 years old. She was born July 31, 1994, in Savannah, GA (hence a Georgia Peach), but became a Tarheel at the age of one. She lived throughout the state of N.C., most recently on Oak Island, NC. Her love stretched from the mountains to the sea, recently commenting how it is important to live in a beautiful place.
Anna had a deep love and appreciation for all animals and nature. Her dad will never keep another fish after fishing with Anna this past year! Her mom feels guilty for not giving the dogs filtered water. At times Anna imparted wisdom that stopped you in your path. Anna’s beautiful smile, sweet, loveable soul and genuine laughter will always remain with all who knew her.
Anna is survived by her parents, Teresa and Garth Walker, and a large extended family to include aunts, uncles, and cousins throughout N.C. and Georgia. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Bobby Earl Morris, Ann Lancaster Evans, step-grandfather Bobby Evans and paternal grandparents Marilyn and Gilford Walker, step-grandmother Nancy Walker.
The family will receive friends on Saturday December 9, 2023, starting at 3pm, with service starting at 4 pm. at McClure Funeral Service in Graham, NC.
