Barry Campbell Obituary

Mr. Barry Eugene Campbell, 55 of Mebane, NC passed away on Thursday September 17, 2020 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham. A native of Alamance County, NC he was the son of the late Julius L. Campbell and Ethelyne Eastwood Campbell, who survives. Barry had worked with Gildan Mebane Distribution Center for numerous years and loved his work friends. He enjoyed trips to Myrtle Beach with his wife Mary and he was a loving husband, son, brother and friend to many. He was known for having a “Kids Heart” as he always loved to laugh and put smiles on other people’s faces. Barry was a wrestling fan and always found a way to enjoy life. Survivors include his wife, Mary Smith Campbell and his sister Deborah Campbell Parker. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother in law, James Walker Parker. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 Pm on Sunday September 20, 2020 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane with the Pastor Darrell Moser officiating. Burial will follow in Mebane Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
