Betty Jane Glasgow, 86, of 305 North Tenth Street, Mebane, died peacefully at Peak Resources Brookshire Skilled Nursing in Hillsborough on Sunday, June 6, 2021.
Mrs. Glasgow was born in Alamance County to the late Robe and Minnie Crawford. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Glasgow was preceded in death by her husband Wilson Glasgow and three brothers Billy, Elmer, and Howard Crawford, and one sister Ola Mae Hooker. Surviving are one brother, Johnny Crawford of Yanceyville, five daughters Linda Watson of Burlington, Wanda Carden and husband Ronnie of Efland, Barbara Hanks and husband Terry of Mebane, Tammy Hoover and husband David of Mebane, and Amy Bruner and husband Travis of Burlington, seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Betty was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother making sure everyones needs were met before her own. She will be missed by all.
The family will receive visitors Wednesday June 9, from 5-7pm at McClure’s Funeral Home in Mebane. There will be a private graveside service.
