Catherine Vance Obituary

Catherine Ellington Vance, 76, of Burlington died Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at her residence. She was a native of Pensacola, Florida a dog groomer and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Burlington where she sang in the choir. She was an active member of the Alamance Kennel Club, loved cake decorating, cross stitching and playing her chello.

She is survived by her husband, Russell Grady Vance of the home; daughter, Julie Vance Lindley & husband Kevin of Silk Hope; son, Colin Emerson Vance & wife Lesley of Las Vegas, NV; foster child, Rachael Blankenship of Sneads Ferry; brother Rayburn Pascal Ellington, III of Peoria, IL; sister, Sharon Ellington Elgin of Whitsett; grandchildren, Levi and Reagan Fogleman of Snow Camp.

A private memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
