Clifton "Troy" Nelson

Mr. Clifton “Troy” Nelson, 53, of Graham, NC passed away on May 17, 2022.  Born on September 9, 1968 in Knoxville, TN. Troy had recently worked with Ace Fence Company as an installer. Troy had the brightest smile and could make anybody laugh even when they were feeling down.  He was always there to talk to anyone and always told you the truth even if it was hard to hear. He was a “Go Getter” and always got things done as he never let things sit around unfinished. Troy’s heart was so big, he tried to help anybody and loved everybody. Survivors include his daughters, Christi Lynn Nelson and Heather Lee Nelson; his grandchildren, Cathy June Nelson, Journiee Blessin Lee Donald, Orlando Antonio Lee Donald, J’Lynn Jazmeria Lee Donald, and Jaceon J’Ky Lee Donald; his father and step mother, Jimmy Ray and Glenda Jenkins; sisters, Deborah Lynn Jenkins, Lisa Breeden Merrill (John) and Jamie Jenkins Simpson (Blake); his brother, Lee Breeden (Michele) and his many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Troy is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara June Ford Jenkins, his grandson, Christopher Shawn Wilson III and his grandparents, Ruth and Zirk Ford. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday May 21, 2022 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham with the Pastor Walter Jones officiating.
