Daniel "Boone" Wesley Johnson

Mr. Daniel Wesley “Boone” Johnson 78, of Green Level, NC passed away on December 29, 2021 at Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington. Born in Orange Co. NC, he was the son of the late Sydney and Harriett Anne Wade Johnson. Boone was a member of the Green Level Men’s Club and he was retired from Granite Finishing. Surviving are his sons, Daniel Wesley Johnson Jr. and David Johnson; grandchildren, Sharnae Anvra Johnson Bruce, Regina Harris, Nicole Harris, Natasha Johnson, Daniel Wesley Johnson III, and Danta W. Johnson and his great grandchild, Wynter Sharnae Bruce; mother of Daniel and David, Jacqueline Johnson; his sisters, Mary Elizabeth Spruill, Ann Wade, and Faye Sellars and husband Walter and his brothers Joe Johnson and James Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Junior and Jerry Johnson. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM at Allred New Mission Baptist Church on Wednesday January 12, 2022. Burial will follow at Sweet Gum Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Johnson will be open to the public for viewing from 10:00 until 5:00 PM on Tuesday January 11, 2022 at the McClure Funeral Home in Graham. Mr. Johnson will also be lying in state at the church on Wednesday 30 minutes prior to the service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Allred New Mission Baptist Church at 244 Kerr’s Chapel Rd. Burlington, NC 27217.
