Diane (Harder) Riley

Mrs. Diana Harder “Diane” Riley 62, of Haw River, NC passed away on Tuesday March 2, 2021 at her residence. A native of Alamance Co. NC, she was the daughter of the late Carl Eugene and Margaret Lamb Harder and the wife of 33 years to the late David Franklin “Rabbit” Riley. Diane loved her trips to the beach with her family and friends as they were the times she so looked forward to. Her favorite time of year was Christmas. Christmas decorating was a big to do for Diane so she could spread the joy of Christmas to others. She loved her dogs Dolce and Cali as they were members of the family. Diane was a member of Bethel Baptist Church where she loved the Lord and her Church family. One thing about Diane was if you came by the house, she was going to make sure you left with a full stomach as she always put others needs and wants above her own. Her smile and laughter would brighten up any room. Survivors include her daughter Dawn Riley and companion Brandon and her son, Gene Riley; a step son, Kevyn Riley; her loving grandchildren, Gracie, Harper, Avelyn and Dawson Riley; a brother, Ricky Harder and wife Susanne and her best friend, Julie Warrick and husband Randy. In addition to her parents and husband of 33 years, she is preceded in death by a brother, David Harder. A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday March 9, 2021 at Bethel Baptist Church with the Pastors David Jackson and Scott London officiating. The family will receive friends following the service on Tuesday at the Church and other times at the residence of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to assist with Mrs. Riley's medical expenses. McClure Funeral Service in Graham is assisting the family.
