Donald Dean Simpson

Mr. Donald Dean Simpson Sr., 85, of Graham, NC, passed away on January 29, 2023. He was the son of the late William Thomas Simpson II and Ora Mae Atkins. He was a man of Baptist faith. Donald spent his working years as a plumber, retiring from the profession. Donald was a veteran of the United States military, proudly serving in the Marines.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Simpson was preceded in death by his son, Donald Dean Simpson Jr., his brothers, Sammy Simpson, Calvin Simpson, Michael Tucker, Roger Meetz, and his sisters, Jewel Cook and Margaret Hodnett.

Mr. Simpson is survived by his wife, Betty Ann Simpson, his  children, Kenny Simpson, Willie Simpson (Wanda), Janice Rogers (Ray), and Stevie Simpson, his grandchildren, Willie Michelle Simpson, Blake Simpson (Jamie), April Sanders, Ashley Nicole Weatherford (Josh), and Erin Brooke Davis (Michael), 11 great-grandchildren, and his sister, Shelby Scott.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 02, 2023 at 4:00PM at the McClure Funeral Home in Graham. The family will receive friends following the service.
