Earl "Britt" Davis

Earl Britt Davis, Jr. of Mebane passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at his residence. Britt was born in Alamance County to Earl Britt Davis, Sr. and Julia Mae Dodson Davis both deceased. He was retired from General Electric and was a member of Hawfields Presbyterian Church. Britt was a devout Christian and he loved the Lord.

Britt is survived by his wife of 55 years, Bonnie F. Davis of the home. His children, Cindy D. Rogers (Jeff) of Mebane., Caroline D. Couch (Pete) of Mebane, and Chuck Davis (Lori) of Clemmons, NC.   Grandchildren, Andrew Rogers (Tiffany), Sarah Murray (Justin), Matthew Couch (Taylor), Jacob Tyler Couch, Brody Davis, and Luke Davis. Great grandchildren, Annistyn Oliver, Beckham Murray, Britt Murray, Ellbie Couch, and River Couch. Sister, Jane Flowers (Phil) of Mebane, Brother, Bobby Davis (Linda) of Mebane. Mother in law, Lannie Faulk of Mebane. In addition to his parents Britt was preceded in death by a grandson, David Rogers and sister, Julia Martin.

A funeral serv ice will be held on Monday, July 6, 2020 at 4:00 PM in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane, Officiating will be Reverend Bennie Smith. Burial will follow in Hawfields Cemetery. Public viewing will be on Sunday, July 5, 2020 from 12 noon until 5:00 PM at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane.
