Edith Wilson Conner

Mrs. Edith Wilson Conner 96, of Graham passed away Monday, June 21st, 2021, at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Edith was born in Russell County, Virginia to Jacob W. Wilson and Ora Belle Ball Wilson, both deceased. Mrs. Conner was retired from Burlington Industries; she was a proud member of Pilgrim Chapel Baptist Church. Edith can be remembered as a loving soul and a giving nature, spreading joy as far as she could, she had a deep care for her church, friends, and family. Mrs. Conner gave the most love she could to her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, children, and her husband of 58 years, Bobby Conner.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Conner was preceded in death by a daughter, Rosemary Compton Porter, eight brothers and four sisters, and a granddaughter, Carrie Dora Eastwood.

Edith is survived by her loving husband, Bobby Allen Conner, a son, Ross Wayne Compton (Donna), two daughters, Rita Anne Crabtree (Fred), and Phyllis Conner, seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and three great great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held for the family to receive friends on Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 9:00AM - 10:00AM with the funeral following at 10:30AM. Pastor Mike Jones will be officiating the service.
