Elizabeth Loftis Cochran, 84, of Graham passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021. She was a native of Alamance County, retired from the textile industry and was of the Baptist Faith. She is the daughter of the late Robert and Fannie Alice Hamlett Loftis, She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Cochran and siblings, Elaine Wade and Gene Loftis.
She is survived by her children, Carolyn McIntyre and husband Greg of Elon, Steve Corter (Maria) of Haw River, James Corter of Graham, Barbara Crutchfield of Graham, Lisa Maness & (Fred) of Graham; sisters, Thelma “Sissy” West of Roxboro, Pearlie Mae Irby of Roxboro and Hope Lunsford of Roxboro; brothers, Richard Loftis and wife Ann of Yanceyville, Roger Loftis and wife Gail of Yanceyville, Ralph Loftis and wife Mary of Roxboro, James “Shorty” Loftis and wife Sandra; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate her life will be 4:00 PM Monday at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham by Pastor Brian Hurdle. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Park.
