Ella Mae Rainey King

Ella Mae Rainey King, 80, passed away on Wednesday November 15, 2023 at the Hospice Home in Burlington.  She was the daughter of the late C.V. and Iva Rainey. Ella was active and faithful to her church, Tabernacle Baptist in Mebane until her health prevented her from attending.  She loved to cook and was the manager of the cafeteria at Service America.  She is survived by her daughter, Rena Strader (Mitchell, Ella’s favorite son in-law); son, Brent Lindley; sister, Karen Yeatts (Mickey); grandchildren, Ryan Rasberry, Hayley Strader; great grandchild, Payeli Hopkins; numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Peanut.  Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Lindley and her brother, J.A. Rainey.  The family will receive friends on Sunday November 19, 2023 from 2pm-4pm at McClure Funeral Service in Graham.  A graveside service will be held at 11am on Monday November 20, 2023 at Kerrs Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery officiated by Pastor Chip Sellew.
