Eunice Lynch Pierce of Graham, NC peacefully passed away early Saturday morning at
the age of 91. What a great, full life she lived.
Eunice is survived by her son Mark, his wife, Nicole of Beulaville, NC. She has 6 grand-
children: Tyson Lane, Hunter Lane, Josh Lane and his wife Brittney, Kelly Lane, Braeden
Kelley, Thomas Kelley, and 4 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 1 sister, Esther Brantley, of Graham.
Eunice is preceded in death by her husband Jim Pierce, her son Wayne Lane, and 7 brothers
and sisters.
Eunice was born March 31, 1928, in Johnston County to Henry Lynch and Lonie Parrish.
After moving to Graham, Eunice began working for Byrd’s Food stores where she retired
over 30 years later. She blessed her community with her ready smile and that beautiful
red hair. She was affectionately known by her close loved ones as, “Big Red.” She loved her Graham Red Devils and was a passionate Carolina basketball fan.
Eunice and Jim were dedicated and faithful members of First Baptist Church of Graham, later moving their membership to New Covenant Fellowship. Her faith and dedication to Jesus was witnessed by all that knew her. Eunice was a loyal and caring friend. She left a legacy of generosity, faith, and love for all of her family to cherish.
A visitation is to be held at New Covenant Fellowship Church from 1:45-2:30 this Saturday, January 25, with the funeral to be held at 2:30. The burial will follow at Graham Memorial Park.
