Eva Mae (Councilman) Holsonback

Mrs. Eva Mae Councilman Holsonback, 92, of Burlington, NC met her Lord and Savior on November 14, 2019. Eva Mae retired from Granite Diagnostics in 1989 to begin her new career as “Omie”, enjoying her grandchildren.  She was a devoted member of Carolina Christian Church, serving as a Sunday School Teacher for more than 60 years.  She loved Jesus and her family with all her heart.  

She is survived by her sons; Kip Holsonback and his wife, Rhonda – Burlington, NC; Tim Holsonback and his wife, Jill - Sierra Vista, AZ, Grandchildren;  Kalin Stewart and her husband, Robert – Chapel Hill, NC; Addison Yarbrough and her husband, Justin – Creedmoor, NC; Elise Holsonback – Los Angeles, CA., Siblings -  Ella Marie Murray and her husband, Tommy; Randy Councilman and his wife, Pat, many loving nieces and nephews, extended family members, and an abundance of friends  She was anticipating the birth of her first great-grandchild expected to arrive in April 2020.

She was preceded in death by her Husband of 61 years, Calvin Holsonback, her parents: Royal and Odie Councilman, siblings: Jackie Allred, Betty Day, David Councilman, RF Councilman, and a granddaughter Heidi Holsonback.
