Helen Coble Byers

Mrs. Helen Marie Coble Byers, of Graham, passed away on Sunday, March 05, 2023 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. A native of Alamance County, Helen was the daughter of the late Shelly Coble and Mattie Thompson Coble. Helen practiced and maintained her faith as a member of Mt. Hermon Church. Aunt Helen will be remembered as the mom of the family, always having her door open to any of her loved ones in need.

Mrs. Byers was preceded in death by her husband, Dillard Byers, her sisters, Agnes White, Cornelia Stanton, Kathleen Patterson, and Rebecca Robertson, and her brothers, Ross Coble and Cecil Coble.

Helen is survived by her nephews, Larry Patterson, Michael Patterson, and Jody White, her nieces, Janet Grizzle, and Penny Simmons, dear family friend, Brian Johnson, her great nephew, Chris Simmons, and her great niece, Kasi Grizzle.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023, beginning at 1:00PM at the McClure Funeral Home in Graham. The family will receive friends half an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Hermon Church Cemetery.
