Imogene Heckle (Wise) Carson

Mrs. Imogene Heckle Wise Carson 87, of Graham, NC passed away on June 3, 2022 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro. A native of St. Matthews, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Hammie J. and Beauthena Heckle Wise. Imogene was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all. She had a love for animals especially cats but nothing put a smile on her face like her grandchildren. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and she loved her Church family. Survivors include her son, Marvin Dean Carson, her grandchildren, Kristy Carson Proffit and husband Justin and Terri Renee Carson; her great granddaughter, Caylee Renee Murphy; her sister, Ethel Ayers; a brother, Jack Wise and her nieces, Kelly Heid, Melissa Hamilton and Lauren Wise. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Mack Carson; a daughter in Law, Kim Dean Carson. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday June 11, 2022 at the Bethel Baptist Church in Graham with the Pastors David Jackson and Scott London officiating. Entombment will follow alongside her husband at the Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church at 238 Dixon Rd. Graham, NC 27253. McClure Funeral Service in Graham is assisting the family.
