Jack Rodney Muegge

Mr. Jack Rodney Muegge 72, of Snow Camp, NC passed away on August 18, 2021 at his residence. A native of Haskell Co, TX and was the son of the late Gerhart and Alice Neinast Muegge. Jack loved photography and was the owner and operator of Overnite One Hour Photo in Kinston, NC and he also had a photo shop in Texas in his earlier years. Jack was a Veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the US Marine Corps and is a graduate of East Carolina University. He was known for being a simple man who enjoyed the outdoors and his family but nothing put a smile on his face like his grandchildren. Survivors include his daughter, Belinda M. Hall and husband James; his son, Chris Muegge and wife Susan; his grandchildren, Jamie Lin, Lindsey, Olivia, Elizabeth, Will, Catherine and Emma; his great grandchildren, Tyler James and Piper Grace; a sister, Gaye Norman; a brother, Gary Muegge and many loving nieces and nephews. Mr. Muegge will be intered at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Memorial may be made to the ALCOVETS by visiting www.alcovets.org.
