James L. Kerley

James Lee Kerley, 59, of Mebane passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021. He was a native of Alamance County, a graduate of Eastern High School, was employed as a hair stylist and was a US Navy Veteran. He is the son of the late James Henry and Sarah Moore Kerley, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Mitzi Burris.

He is survived by his son, Brandon Kerley of Haw River; Grandson, Brent Kerley of Danville, VA; sister, Lisa Doss and husband Lynn of Mebane; brother-in-law, Jeff Burris, of Swepsonville; Nieces, Tara Lynch and husband Kenny of Graham, Alia Walker and husband John of Rougemont.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be 6:00 PM, June 2, 2021 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane by Pastor Keith Spake. The family will receive friends following the service.
