Janet Harris (Prichette) Wrenn

Mrs. Janet Harris Prichette Wrenn 78, of West End, NC formerly of Alamance Co. NC passed away on February 15, 2021 at First health Hospice in West End, NC. A native of Alamance Co, NC she was the daughter of the late John Fred and Lillie Harris Prichette. Janet loved many things in life but one of her favorites was sewing. If any family member or friends was having a new born baby, she would always make sure they had a quilt she made that could always be treasured. At the start of the pandemic, she would make face masks for those who couldn’t afford one or couldn’t acquire one so everyone could feel safe. Nothing was more important to her than her family. She and her husband had made two cross country trips which they cherished so much. Janet was one who always put others needs above her own but nothing put a smile on her face more than spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Donald Wrenn; her daughter, Dorothy “Jenee” Schieler and husband James; a son, Wayne Wrenn and wife Melissa; her grandchildren, Lauren Brown and husband Carson, Casey Wrenn and significant other, Danielle and Brandon Wallace and wife Katana; her great grandchildren, Hunter, Jase, Drew and Destany, many loving nieces, nephews, and many other loving family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy Prichette and Della Warren and a brother, Walter Prichette. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 Pm on Saturday February 20, 2021 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday. Burial will follow in Long’s Chapel Cemetery.
