Janice Oliver Meyer

Mrs. Janice Oliver Meyer 85, of Burlington, NC, passed away on October 26, 2023, at her residence. A native of Johnston Co. NC, she was the daughter of the late Paul Z.Oliver and Ruby Collins Kimrey. Janice enjoyed reading and collecting her jewelry which she would never leave the house without her rings on. She had a special love for dancing as her face would always light up when the music started. Survivors include her daughters, Sherri Taylor, and Wendy Boggs; her grandchildren, Jason Taylor and wife, Christina, and Justin Taylor and wife Amber; her great grandchildren, Declan, Brooklyn, and Amelia Taylor; her loving brother, Dr. William “Bill” Oliver, and wife Nancy, and her many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Arthur Meyer. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday October 29, 2023, at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home and other times at the residence of the family. A private family entombment will be held alongside her husband John in the Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Liberty Hospice at 3134 Wendell Blvd. 2nd Floor, Wendell, NC 27591.
