Jo Weathers Obituary

Jo Ellen Black Weathers, 67, of Mebane, NC, passed away on December 01, 2022, at the UNC Hillsborough Hospital. Mrs. Weathers was born in Alamance County on June 24, 1955, to the late Leroy Black and JoAnn Black. Mrs. Weathers will be remembered as a fun-loving person who kept a good sense of humor going at all times. Mrs. Weathers enjoyed many things in life including, animals, her truck, guns, and had a special love for her trips to the beach. She made an impact on those around her, being remembered for her good cooking skills, lending a helping hand when she could, and inspiring her daughter to learn to play the piano.

In addition to her father, Jo Ellen was preceded in death by her brother, Jonathan Black.

Mrs. Weathers is survived by her mother, JoAnn Black, her sister, Jeanene McHale, her daughter, Devon Kerley (Mike), her lifelong partner, Denise Teetor, her sister-in-law, Karen Ussery, her brother-in-law, Doug Ussery, many nieces and nephews, and one special adopted son, Jeremy Teetor
