”John Charles Timmons, 55, of Graham passed away Monday, June 28, 2021. John was born in Washington, DC to John Edward Timmons, deceased, and Leslie Strother Van Meter. John was a motorcycle and car mechanic. In addition to his mother John is survived by his daughter, Kirsty Lee Rupert and her husband Chris of Raleigh. Sisters, Debbie Timmons of Snow Camp and Mary Simmerman and her husband Wayne of Cedar Point, NC. His best friend for over 35 years, Roger Massey. In addition to his father John is preceded in death by his brother, Barry Collins. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham on Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. There will also be a Celebration of Life gathering to follow at the Eli Whitney Community Center in Snow Camp, 3917 E Greensboro Chapel Hill Rd, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.”
